Projects include: complete proprietary PC pump control system design - developed from inception to manufacturing final production product, provided comprehensive hands-on field support for automation products including installation, log interpretation, troubleshooting & diagnostics, with detailed follow-up reports; Designed custom field data acquisition systems for product development, testing and troubleshooting; Developed custom real-time computing solutins for embedded control projects; Performed applied R & D for product improvement and defining performance envelopes; Experimental 3 phase motor drive with proprietary control; Novel oil well control concepts; Custom data modeling solutions; Computer network planning, installation, and troubleshooting; Implemented concise IT solutions employing VPN, PXE, & disk imaging technologies; Application of automation technologies to healthcare; Provide structure and management to technically complex small projects; Provide technical consulting to management, such as technology reviews, evaluations and reverse engineering.

EVI OIL TOOLS (CANADA) INC. (October 1994 - December 1996)
Product Development Engineer - Developed real-time well site control products for down hole PC pump applications (US Patent #5,820,350). Designed and optimized advanced algorithms and oil well control strategies. Directly involved in the collection of field data to enhance product design. Other duties & activities include: experimental natural gas de-watering controller for PC pump systems; oilfield data acquisition & telemetry; R & D/new technology investigation; integration of custom control products into SCADA environments; prototype and test equipment development; reviewing competitors products.

ISM (ALBERTA) CORPORATION (January 1994 - October 1994)
Service Development Analyst - Develop and maintain system services for large corporate clients; C programming in the PC and VM environments; address host/LAN printer connectivity issues; systems requirements analysis; new technology investigation; software development and maintenance; hardware/software specification and evaluation; documentation and report writing; tier III computer support.
